Todd Johnson - Natural Horseman and Professional Trainer takes in select outside training horses for full time training on a very limited basis, however, his true enjoyment comes from working with horse and rider together - teaching them to teach each other. He builds horse/human relationships through understanding, knowledge and trust. His specialty is helping new horse/human pairs get off to a great start with a solid foundation. He teaches you the most common relational challenges new owners will face, and helps owners who've had their horses for a while advance to new levels of communication and/or undo some of the common challenges that might have already cropped up.
Todd is an avid fan and student of the Parelli Natural Horsemanship methods of of horse starting and development. While in no way certified or endorsed by the Parellis in anyway, if you are on that path, too, Todd understands and is happy to help.
While communication and relationship issues are similar in any breed of horse, Todd also brings over a decade of experience with Gaited Horses of all breeds, and enjoys helping owners find natural, non-mechanical solutions to help their horses realize their smooth gait potential.

Training Rates are as follows: (Occasionally Todd may be able to come to you in the local area and schedule permitting. If so, private rate applies to travel time, also.)
Hourly Rates*:--Private: Horse or Horse w/Human $60/hour (JBIT boarder discount $45/hour)
Semi-Private: 2-3 horses/riders together - $45/hour ($35/hour boarder discount.)
