The JBiT Ranch - Breeding Contract   The JBiT Ranch, owned by Todd & Barbara Johnson agrees to breed the Mare________________________________ , TWHBEA#___________,SSHBEA#____________,RHBAA#___________ owned by____________________________________________,to GLYNN'S RAGIN' CAJUN, TWHBEA #930034 SSHBEA #9300717, according to the following terms: The $200 booking fee portion of the stud fee is due with return of the contract to reserve your spot for the coming year's breeding and is non-refundable. The second $200 of the stud fee is due when the mare is delivered to The JBiT Ranch. The remaining $300 is due before the mare leaves this facility. If the mare does not settle you may choose to have her rebred and pay only mare care for each stay at The JBiT Ranch. If your mare is bred for three heat cycles without settling, a new clean culture and reproductive exam will be required before she is rebred. You may also choose the option of substitution of another mare, subject to approval by The JBiT Ranch. Stallion owner is under no obligation to cover a mare deemed to be in unfit breeding condition. Such determination will be made at the sole discretion of the stallion owner. Live Foal Guarantee:  If the resulting foal does not live for 7days, the mare owner is entitled to rebreed above mare or an approved subsitute mare for one additional foal.  A signed veterinarian statement proving death of first foal will be required for rebreeding. A current negative Coggins Test and clean culture is required on each mare delivered to the farm and all shots and worming must be current. There can be no history of strangles in the mare for 6 months prior to her arrival at The JBiT Ranch. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE! Every precaution necessary shall be taken; however, neither The JBiT Ranch nor Todd and Barbara Johnson shall be held responsible for loss, injury, illness, or escapes. A veterinarian will be called to the farm for examination or treatment of your mare only after you have agreed to this procedure. However, in the event of an unforeseen emergency we reserve the right to call a qualified veterinarian to the mare without notification of the owner. You may have your mare attended to by a veterinarian of your choice at any time while on The JBiT Ranch. We will also be glad to arrange for our vet to attend to your mare. Should you choose to use The JBiT's vet, you will be required to set up an account with them directly for billing. All accounts must be paid in full before the mare leaves The JBiT Ranch. A mare left at The JBiT Ranch for three months without payments made and without prior arrangements agreed to in writing by The JBiT Ranch will be considered abandoned. The JBiT Ranch - Shipped Semen Contract   The following shall be considered as an addendum to the Breeding Contract between The JBiT Ranch and __________________________, the owner of the mare _____________________, to be bred to Glynn's Ragin' Cajun in or around the month of _______ in the year 20__.   The JBiT Ranch agrees to ship cooled semen via overnight transport within one business day of being notified by the mare owner. Same day shipments and weekend shipments are not available due to the extreme difficulty in coordinating with airlines for flight availability and the additional hours of courier time necessary to get semen shipments to the airport. Friday shipments for Saturday delivery are feasible (additional shipping fees may apply).   If the shipment is going directly to a veterinarian's facility, we require the name, address phone number and fax number of that office. As time is of the essence when collecting and shipping cooled semen, please provide us as many means of contact for both owner and vet as possible.   Semen motility information will be shipped with each container. Neither The JBiT Ranch nor the collection facility assumes any responsibility for the handling of the semen once it is shipped. It is the responsibility of the receiving party to be available to accept the shipment when it arrives and store it in a cool place out of direct sunlight (immediate refrigeration of the unopened container is strongly recommended)   The stud fee is due in full at least 3 weeks prior to collection. Collection and shipping fees (generally between $150 and $200) will be billed with the shipment.
